What is Izumi?

Shigechiyo Izumi - Oldest Man in the WorldIzumi – means spring or fountain in Japanese.

Izumi is now known to us as the access to the fountain of life; but even before all that, we should tell you about the Izumi Inspiration – the Izumi Man…

A British journalist for the Guinness Book of Records was on an assignment to interview Shigechiyo Izumi, the world’s oldest documented living person, a 115-year-old man in remarkably good health.

The journalist was amazed by Izumi’s vitality and the fact that he had worked until the age of 105.

The journalist realized most of the islands’ inhabitants were physically fit, with long lifespans and low incidences of serious illness. A team of researchers came to the island to answer this question and made some remarkable discoveries. They found the water the islanders drank was different from water  found anywhere else in the world.

They were drinking from a preserved water source with unique characteristics. Not only does it contain many essential minerals, it is also very alkaline, with a pH between 7 and 8.5.

In other parts of the world, cultures such as the Hunzas of North Pakistan, the Tibetans, Armenians, Azerbajans, and the Titicacas of Peru, all live long and healthy lives, with no degenerative disease. The only source of water for all these cultures is melting glacier water – small-clustered water, with alkaline pH, and very high in antioxidants.

Modern-age doctors, health practitioners, and researchers now attribute the source of good health to having an alkaline lifestyle:

  • Exercising and engaging in physical activities promote over-all positive well-being.
  • Eating FOOD:

Fruits and vegetables

Organic lean protein

Omega-3 fatty acids

Drinking healthy, clean water

makes us healthy and contributes to longevity.

  • Getting plenty of rest and attracting positive thoughts promote good, positive feeling.

and the source of sickness to an acidic lifestyle:

  • Smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, and stressful activities weaken our immune system.
  • Being under heavy stress and having negative emotions make us susceptible to diseases.
  • Eating CRAP:

Chemical-infused food, Carbonated drinks

Refined sugar

Artificial sweeteners and artificial colors

Processed food

makes us unhealthy and contributes to the overall sickness of the body.

To help sum that up in a chart:

We’re not saying that one must just stick to alkaline and abandon all acidic food and drinks. We are advocates of a Healthful Balance.

There must exist that Acid-Alkaline balance in people’s ideal health:

Our body needs natural acids for digestion. The activities that we have though are more inclined to the acidic diet and lifestyle. This is where overacidity happens. This is where we need to balance this out with alkaline-rich food and drinks. What better way to start with this than with the water we drink?

Today, people can gain access to what Shigechiyo Izumi had enjoyed.

What is Izumi in the present times?

We believe that we do not need to suffer from chronic and degenerative illnesses. It is physically painful to the one inflicted with it and it is equally emotionally painful to their family who watch them experience it. A healthy lifestyle comes with an open mind and a choice to stick by it.

Information is readily available to those who search for it, who search for it well. Share your thoughts.

What is Izumi Alkaline Kangen Machine?

What Is Alkaline Water?

Alkaline Water was first developed in Japan in the early 50’s and the experiments were first conducted on plants and animals. Full scale development started in 1954 by several Japanese agricultural universities on the effects of Reduced Alkaline Water, especially acid water, on plants. in January 15th, 1966, this type of Reduced Alkaline Water ionizer was approved as a health improvement medical device by the Health and Rehabilitation Ministry of the Japanese Government. A myriad of benefits can be derived from this water. It can improve your physical and emotional health significantly.

Benefits of Alkaline Water

According to Dr. Robert O. Young, PhD, DSc, ND, it can help prevent Diabetes, because it has a pH level of 9, like Evamor, so it can “take a lot of pressure off of your pancreas.” Your pancreas is charged with the responsibility to alkalinize your food as it exits the stomach, before it harms the small intestine. Everything there must be alkaline.

We all know that heart attacks are one of the most common sicknesses, now it can finally be prevented because of Alkaline Water. Just by drinking it, you will be providing your cells with a large amount of antioxidants all the time. Antioxidants are able to repair the damage caused by free radicals [oxidation/rotting], but more importantly, a constant supply of antioxidants can prevent further oxidation damage to your cells. If you can prevent and repair the damage of oxidation at the cellular level before it causes a disease you are saving untold amounts of trouble for your body and money, time, worry, and so on.

The main benefit of alkaline water is that it neutralizes acids in the body. Your body is 70% water; so changing water has a large impact on your pH. Once the levels swing towards alkalinity, arthritis cannot thrive.

Since Alkaline Water has a very negative ORP value (Oxidation Reduction Potential), it neutralizes free radicals (i.e. ROS – Reactive Oxygen Species), making many oxygen molecules available to the cancer cells; either to slow the growth of cancer or to kill the cancer cells.

You can also drink Alkaline Water in order to maintain your body’s pH back to neutral (or about 7.4). A body with a neutral pH is a healthy body. If your blood’s pH lower than 6.8 it becomes acidic. An acidic body is a place where sickness and disease can easily develop. Drinking plenty of Alkalized water will maintain the pH of our bodies neutral, between a healthy range of 6.8 to 7.8, ideally 7.4. This neutral pH, not acidic-not too alkaline, prevents our immune system from malfunction or get weaker and disease to develop and keeps it strong and healthy, because hydrated will help counteract kept toxins as well as body acids and will energize the particular body tissue.

Also, soon after overcoming the damaging acids along with poisons, alkaline water may help eliminate them out of your body also. By doing this, it is often known that it could help gradual degeneration down, meaning that it may slow aging.

Other benefits of Ionized Alkaline Water are, improved skin and hair appearance, reduced lactic acid, increased absorption efficiency of nutrients, better sleep, reduces joint and muscle pain, assists in weight loss, boosts immune system, improved digestion, antioxidant, increased energy, more stamina and detoxification.
