Protection for Your Health

Healthy water doesn’t just mean “clean”.  Yet that’s as far as many of us think we need to go… and it’s definitely as far as our water company plans to.

The water we drink from our taps looks clean.  But looks can be deceiving.  Our municipalities add chlorine, chloramines, fluoride and all sorts of other chemicals to adjust flavor, kill bacteria and cover odors.  Each of which have some pretty nasty side effects themselves.  Then there are the increasing levels of pesticides and toxic metals leaching into the water from farming and manufacturing each year.

And yet we’re told the water flowing from our faucets is safe.  Really?

“It is now clear that the association between bone loss and pH does not follow a chance pattern, but it is characterized by a very close relationship.”National Institute of Health

What began as a way to prevent the water borne diseases in the early 1900s, has itself become a problem. 100 years ago a glass of water could quench your thirst or kill you.  Literally.  That doesn’t happen anymore, but all we’ve really done is lengthen the disease process from a few days to a few decades.  In today’s world, you either have a filter or you are a filter.

And while keeping the hidden toxins out of your water is important, so is ensuring what we choose to drink doesn’t work against our body.  Countless studies now show a direct correlation between bone health and pH level.  The more acidic we become the weaker our bones are. When it comes to water, it doesn’t get more acidic than the many bottled, reverse osmosis and distilled varieties lining our shelves.

We also know when red blood cells are immersed in distilled water, they slowly swell until they burst. That’s not good either.

The belief that water from the tap or even a bottle is clean and good for us is getting harder and harder to prove.  In fact, evidence to the contrary is piling up.

Which means the time has come to take matters into our own hands and choose a better alternative.
